American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR Circulator position in Washington, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with both circulating and scrub responsibilities and rotating call coverage.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
- Responsibilities include both circulating and scrub nursing roles
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week
- Rotating call coverage required, including participation in 24-hour call
Requirements
- Active WA State or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- OR circulating and/or scrub experience required
- Recovery Room (PACU) nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide circulating and/or scrub nursing care in the operating room, ensuring safe and therapeutically effective patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members throughout the surgical process
- Apply nursing assessment skills, including recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Maintain the OR work area and uphold hospital, Nursing Department, and regulatory standards
