Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray Combo) with at least 2 years of CT experience for a night shift contract at a Level IV trauma acute care hospital in Glendive, MT.
Details
- Level IV trauma acute care hospital with 25 staffed beds, 24-hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
- CT/X-Ray Combo unit — CT experience is required; X-ray only experience will not be accepted
- Average daily caseload of 28 patients per tech
- 4x10-hour night shifts covering Friday through Monday, with two shift windows: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7:00 PM–5:00 AM depending on staffing
- On-call coverage required: either 5:30 PM–9:00 PM (3.5 hrs) or 7:30 PM–9:00 PM (90 min) prior to shift, depending on day shift coverage
- Every other weekend includes an additional 1-hour call period from 7:00 AM–8:00 AM at the end of the shift
- Weekend requirements vary based on staffing needs
- Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is possible
- Charting via Cerner
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) is accepted but not required
- Current BLS required
- Active state license required if applicable — pending state license accepted; application must be submitted immediately upon receiving an offer
- Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray imaging; X-ray-only experience will not be considered
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No RTO permitted within the first 2 weeks of the contract due to orientation; RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
