Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Savannah, GA, requiring Level I or II trauma experience and the ability to circulate across all surgical service lines.
Details
- Hospital-based OR setting with 30 operating rooms
- Serves all surgical service lines, including incoming traumas, at a Level I trauma center
- Patient ratio is 1:1
- Unit staffed with OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, and Anesthesia Techs
- Night shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM on a block schedule
- No call, no floating, and no weekend requirements
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Level I or Level II trauma center experience required
- Ability to circulate across all surgical service lines
- CNOR certification preferred
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
- Navy scrubs required; home laundered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
