Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level III Trauma facility in Duncan, OK, with night shift scheduling and a patient ratio of 1:5.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 110 staffed beds, rated high performing in at least one adult procedure or condition
- Medical Surgical unit serving a general medical and surgical patient population, including pediatric patients as needed
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Floating required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting via Meditech — experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred but not required
- Feeding tube care and management experience preferred
- IV therapy and phlebotomy experience preferred
Requirements
- Active OK RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- ACLS and CPI preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
