Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Pittsfield, MA, requiring telemetry experience and a valid MA RN license in hand.
Details
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Med/Surg unit with 20–34 beds depending on the unit
- Typical patient ratio of 1:6
- Floating to any Med/Surg unit is required
- Meditech Expanse is the EMR (experience highly preferred)
- Telemetry monitoring is part of patient care on this unit
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
- Current Med/Surg skills checklist (within the past year) required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
Additional Information
- Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to or at the time of consideration — no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved, and requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
