Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Ortho) night shift position at an acute care hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN, requiring 3 years of experience and an active TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- 18-bed Medical Surgical unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Orthopedic/Med-Surg specialty serving patients of all ages
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed
- On-call requirements as needed
- Floating required to Rehab and ICU units
- EMR: Medhost Clinician Experience
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or Compact RN license) required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be obtained prior to start date (RQI certifications are not accepted)
- Orthopedic patient care experience required
- Social Security number required for consideration
- Date of birth required for consideration
- Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates and placement
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing care to a diverse patient population of all ages
- The facility is an accredited chest pain center
- Orientation is held biweekly on Mondays
- Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
- Candidates must be cleared against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
