Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Ontario, OH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care MS experience and prior travel experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- On-call required with the ability to return to the facility within 1 hour
- Floating to sister campus MS/Tele units (Bucyrus & Galion) may be required if census drops
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive Med/Surg experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Proficiency with medication scanning required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being considered
- Time off requests should be submitted in advance and are subject to approval
- Candidates with minimal or no requested time off during the contract are preferred
