Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Step Down) position requiring at least 2 years of step-down experience and an active IA or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry (Step Down) unit in a hospital setting
- May be required to float to the ED and across local campuses within the same discipline
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact RN license required; if IA license is not yet active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact license must be provided
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of step-down experience required
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
- Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
