Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical/Orthopedics Nights position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active ME or compact RN license.
Details
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Med-Surg Orthopedics unit in a hospital setting
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Every other weekend availability may be required at the request of the Department Manager or Supervisor
- Pay period runs Sunday through Saturday
Requirements
- Active Maine RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a team-oriented approach required
- Flexible scheduling availability required
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
- Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments and must leave for at least 26 weeks before returning to the same facility
