Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Charge Nurse (Nights) position at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Bangor, ME, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.
Details
- Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Charge Nurse role overseeing nursing care for an assigned group of residents during a given shift
- Night shift schedule, 7pm–7am
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Maine or Compact RN license required
- Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Coordinates and directs total nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care
- Serves as a resource and quality management coordinator for the unit, providing administrative backup in the Director of Nursing's absence
- Participates in patient/resident and family education and collaborates with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members
- Local candidates are accepted for this position, though local candidates receive a lower hourly rate than traveling candidates
