Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion position in Massachusetts, requiring active MA licensure and prior outpatient chemotherapy infusion experience.
Details
- Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion setting within a hospital-affiliated cancer center
- Patient population consists of oncology patients with complex care needs, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Charts using Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Outpatient chemotherapy infusion experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
- Candidates without a BSN must have a minimum of 1–2 years of ambulatory oncology experience
- OCN certification required after 2 years of hire or 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

- Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, patient education, care planning, symptom management, and coordination of outpatient services
- Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to address complex care needs of cancer patients and their caregivers
