Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN House Supervisor with ED or ICU experience for a 13-week assignment at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Hood River, OR, requiring Epic proficiency and flexibility to float across multiple facilities.
Details
- Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds, also designated as a teaching hospital
- House Supervisor role with floating required to other units based on skill set and facility needs
- Travelers may be floated to other facilities across the state, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Day and night shifts available, both 3x12-hour schedules (7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00)
- Weekend shifts required on a variable basis alongside weekdays
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
- No parking fees at the facility
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- ED or ICU experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Oversee and coordinate patient care across units as a House Supervisor, floating to other units and facilities based on staffing needs
- Refusal to float to assigned facilities may result in assignment termination
- All RTO or scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- RTO is expected to be minimal for this position
- First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; ED or ICU background is required
