Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of experience and BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with 6 LDR beds
- Patient population includes antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal obstetrical care for pregnancies over 20 weeks
- Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
- Floating to postpartum or nursery units required
- No call requirements
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week assignment duration
Requirements
- Active RN license (State of OK or Compact) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide shift-based nursing care throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital policy and the state Nurse Practice Act
- Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe obstetrical care
- Delegate patient care responsibilities and provide direction and supervision to assigned staff as needed
- Maroon scrubs provided
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
