What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel RN - ICU position at American Traveler?

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring MT or compact RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Active MT or compact RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
ASN required, BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the ICU specialty required
Epic EMR experience required
No pending license allowed for consideration
Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per accepted practice standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, and document per hospital and regulatory guidelines
Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, allow at least 2 weeks for processing
Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this assignment
