Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical ICU night shift position in Ardmore, OK, requiring 2 years of critical care experience and active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

- Medical ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Critical care patient population

Requirements
- Active OK RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be AHA-issued
- Minimum 2 years of critical care / ICU experience required
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
- No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Responsible for the provision of nursing care for ICU patients across all phases of care, including prescribing nursing interventions, coordinating patient activities, and delegating care to interdisciplinary team members
- Charge nurse experience is preferred
- Black scrubs required
- Flu vaccination is required; exemptions must be client-approved
- Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced bill rate
- Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
