Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4-5 years of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Evening shift schedule (3x12 hours), 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Uses Epic ASAP charting system
- Floating required in rotation with facility staff, with appropriate orientation provided
- Some holiday coverage expected
Requirements
- Active RN license (LA state or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- NRP certification preferred if available
- ENPC certification is a plus
- 4-5 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Level III trauma center or higher experience preferred
- Epic ASAP charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
- Limited to no RTO approved during this assignment, with any requests needing prior approval and documentation before start
- Avoid RTO requests during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full calendar weeks off
- Travel experience is preferred for this role
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
