Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and multiple AHA certifications including TNCC and ENPC.
Details
- Full-time position in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Minimum ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- At least 1 year of ED RN experience required
- Required certifications (all AHA, must not expire prior to start): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
- English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for ED patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Any requested time off (RTO) should be disclosed upfront during the consideration process
