Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital in Massachusetts, requiring a valid MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting at a 127-bed acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Night shift schedule, 7p–7:30a (4x12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be valid at time of consideration — pending licenses are not accepted
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- Experience with a 1:4-5 patient ratio required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Cerner experience preferred; Epic experience also considered
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered with 2–3 years of ED experience and Epic or Cerner experience
- Any color scrubs accepted; no denim material

- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 50 miles of the facility will be billed at the local rate
