Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a teaching, Level IV trauma facility in Arizona, with float requirements to a nearby freestanding ED.
Details
- Works in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care hospital with 87 staffed beds
- May be asked to float to a freestanding Sedona ED location, approximately a 20-minute drive away
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7PM–7AM
- Every other weekend is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Charting is performed in Cerner
- Free parking available on site
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or a valid compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 3 years of ED nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- TNCC certification preferred
- Seasoned travelers are strongly preferred for this position
Additional Information
- Level IV trauma, teaching hospital environment
- Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including barcode medication administration (BCMA)
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Blocked scheduling requests will be considered by the unit manager
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- RTO during the assignment requires unit manager approval
