Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Kokomo, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and charge nurse capability.
Details
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- 13-week contract
- 15-room Emergency Department with additional RME space, seeing approximately 100 patients per day
- Hospital includes a 13-bed ICU, Med/Surg, PCU, Acute Rehab, and Level 2 OB units
- 24/7 Respiratory Therapy, ED providers, and hospitalist team on staff
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Charge nurse experience required; must be comfortable in a charge role
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all must be AHA-issued)
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
- CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
