Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, an active NJ or Compact RN license, and on-call availability.
Details
- Located in a hospital Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms, 8 beds, and approximately 7 patient visits per day
- Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:4
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- On-call is required approximately 9 days per month: 4 weekdays per week (Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM) and 1 full weekend per month (Fri 5:00 PM–6:00 AM and Sat/Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 AM)
- Charting is performed in Epic
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two current professional references required
- Skills checklist specific to the Cath Lab required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Any RTO or schedule accommodation requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
