Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Case Management position in a high-volume ED setting, requiring strong InterQual experience and a valid CA RN license.
Details
- High-volume Emergency Department (ED) setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Case management role focused on ED patient population
- Cerner EMR used; experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Strong ED nursing experience required
- Strong InterQual experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- At least 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in case management within the past 2 years
- Must pass a pass/fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
- At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year from a relevant unit is required for consideration
- A second professional reference within the past 2 years (from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator) is also required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius restriction
- No RTO (time off requests) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling
- Candidates who were previously employed at the facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
