Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Care/PCU Night shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and recent acute care experience.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital Interventional Care unit with additional support responsibilities in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ED Boarders on a PRN basis
- Patient population includes cardiac progressive care, ICU/coronary, and emergency boarder patients
- Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
- Occasional weekend shifts required
- 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required (ED, PCU, or ICU)
- High school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing)
Additional Information
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care within the scope of Oregon State Board of Nursing practice
- Performs data entry for billing purposes and logs case data into the department's digital archive
- This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for missing certifications or experience
- 13-week contract
