Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Massachusetts, requiring 4 years of cath/EP lab experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Located in a 400 bed hospital facility
- Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab setting with 2 procedural rooms
- Adult patient population
- Procedures include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implant, and ablations
- 4x10 schedule, days: 7:00am–5:30pm
- On-call requirement of 7 nights per month: one full weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) plus 4 additional nights
- No floating required
- EMR: Epic (Cupid module); Epic experience required
- Free on-site parking and on-site call room available
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum 4 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience required
- Interventional cardiac and scrub experience required
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for RN-level care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures including PCI, device implants, and ablations
- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
