Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Danbury, CT, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience and proficiency in circulating Cath, EP, and Neuro cases.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Performs and assists with Cath, EP, and Neuro interventional procedures including Mechanical Thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, and Embolizations
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with variable start times of 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
- On-call requirement includes one weekday night per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every fourth weekend (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM), plus some holidays
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted CT RN license (Standard or Compact) required; a completed license application may be accepted in lieu of an active license
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab/EP procedure experience required
- Proficiency in circulating Cath, EP, and Neuro cases required
- Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the past year in the same specialty are required for consideration
- CCRN, CI, CV, or RCIS certifications preferred
- Proficiency in monitoring and scrubbing Cath, EP, and Neuro cases preferred
Additional Information
- Neuro interventional experience (Mechanical Thrombectomy, Coiling, Pipeline, Embolizations) is preferred
- Candidates who have previously worked at any location within this health system may be subject to a review process to determine eligibility to return
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
- Timekeeping is managed through Kronos
- Online orientation modules must be completed prior to assignment start
