Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2 years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington State.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekends required
- Block scheduling required
- Patient ratios are points-based and vary
- Charting via Epic (required)
- No on-call required
- No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Washington State
- Parking is provided at no cost
- Scrubs: any color accepted
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- NRP certification preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services in an acute care environment
- All scrub colors are permitted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within Washington State may result in assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is expected; time off requests should be submitted prior to or at the time of offer, as post-offer requests may be denied
