American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an Ohio or Compact RN license in hand.

• HVTI Step-Down unit within a large hospital setting
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33, and ED) for the same patient population
• Every other holiday coverage is required

• Active OH RN license or Compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Step-Down or a related specialty prior to traveling
• Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment
• Two professional references are required
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any locations within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any of this system's facilities
