Job Description & Requirements

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department in New York with night shifts and advanced certification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a large hospital
- 58-bed emergency unit in a facility with 352 total beds
- Typical patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- CPI De-Escalation must be completed before or during first contract
- TNCC, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
