American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown position in Rock Island, IL, requiring 2 years of cardiac stepdown experience and active IL and IA RN licenses.

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting within a multi-campus health system
• Cardiac stepdown patient population
• Night shift patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6; charge nurses account for each nurse's level of cardiac experience when making assignments
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be required across local campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine) within the same discipline
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• Active IA RN license also required; if not yet active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided during compliance
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac stepdown / PCU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply
