Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient-focused role requiring at least 1 year of experience, with a strong preference for candidates who are also capable in inpatient and subacute settings.
Details
- Outpatient PT unit with floating responsibilities to inpatient and swing bed patients
- Primary patient population is orthopedic, with additional exposure to geriatric, pediatric, and vestibular patients
- Schedule is 5x8 days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Charting is performed in Redoc
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience required
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient/subacute settings strongly preferred
- Active PT license required; pending license accepted if active by start date — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities span outpatient orthopedic care as the primary focus, with additional treatment of geriatric, pediatric, and vestibular patients as needed
- Teal scrubs or business casual attire required
- Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
