Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care facility in Maysville, KY, with a primarily outpatient orthopedic caseload.
Details
- Work setting is a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited facility in Maysville, KY
- Assignment is split approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient rehabilitation
- Patient population is predominantly adult outpatient orthopedic cases
- Common diagnoses include joint replacements, back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain
- Strict 1:1 patient ratio
- Shift is days, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday
- Weekend call required on a 1:4 rotation
- No float requirements
Requirements
- MSPT or DPT required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Strong outpatient orthopedic experience required, including back, neck, and shoulder conditions and joint replacements
- Some experience with general medical inpatients and joint surgeries preferred
- AHA certifications required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable

- Supervisor is Owen Brown, PT
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
