Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a GA state license and Cerner proficiency.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic post-op cases (cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement), neurological conditions (MS, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI), and spine/cervical pain conditions
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with one weekend per month
- Float requirement included in this assignment
- Charting completed in Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in acute care required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Georgia state PT license required if applicable
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Proficiency in body mechanics and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, and spinal conditions required
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week contract with possibility of extension
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Minimal to no time off (RTO) during the assignment
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates residing 31–50 miles from the facility may be subject to a reduced pay rate
