American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for an inpatient rehab assignment at a Level III trauma hospital in Texas.

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a 450-bed acute care hospital with a census of approximately 360 patients
• Level III trauma hospital serving patients across 7 floors
• Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, oncology, post-op spine, general med/surg, and ICU (medical, cardiac, and surgical) cases
• Staffing includes 8-10 PTs and 6-8 PTAs per day
• Works closely with OT, speech therapy, and case management teams
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Active Texas PT license required; pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
