American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Liberty, MO, requiring at least 1 year of PCU experience and a valid MO or Compact RN license.
Details- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a hospital setting (3 South)
- 12-hour night shifts, 1845–0715
- Every other weekend required
- First to float to a lesser acuity unit
- No on-call requirements
- Major holiday coverage required; manager will work with schedule for potential time off on a major holiday
- 13-week contract
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience required
- High acuity drip experience preferred
- Arterial line experience preferred
- BiPAP/Airvo experience preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- New graduates will not be considered for this position
- Orientation spans approximately 5 days: Days 1–2 are system-level orientation, Day 3 covers facility and clinical orientation, Day 4 is continued clinical orientation, and Day 5 involves computer training before being released to the unit
- Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
- This is a nicotine-free facility
