American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a 13-week contract at a collaborative outpatient clinic setting with previous travel experience preferred.
Details- Outpatient physical therapy clinic located on a hospital campus (facility is approximately 3 years old)
- Department also includes inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled care settings on campus
- 8-hour day shifts with start times varying between 7:30–8:00 AM
- 10–12 patients scheduled per day with 1:1 care
- Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is preferred
- Rehab aides and PTAs are available to assist with throughput and turnover as a second set of hands
- 2 weekend shifts required over the 13-week assignment: one Saturday full day (with a weekday comp day) and one Sunday limited to ortho or stroke patients
- No required holiday coverage; volunteering is welcome
- Candidates must live more than 45 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous travel experience required for this outpatient role
- Current BLS certification required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Business casual attire required; khakis and polo shirts are the standard dress code
- Orientation consists of 1 shadow day, with independent patient coverage beginning on day 2
- Experienced colleagues are consistently available as resources, and the therapy team operates in a highly collaborative environment
- Holidays are not required but can be volunteered
