American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience across multiple surgical specialties including Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology.

• Operating Room (OR) setting in a hospital environment
• Surgical specialties include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgery is a plus
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday with a rotating day off
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be granted during the first week of orientation
• First-time travelers should check position details for eligibility
