American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Telemetry Clinical Decision Unit (Observation Unit) position requiring PCU background and strong vasoactive drip experience at a Magnet teaching hospital in Florida.
Details- Position is located in a Medical/Telemetry Clinical Decision Unit (2 East) within a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- 26-week contract (non-negotiable)
- Charting is done in Epic
- Floating is required to all three system hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Martin Tradition – all within 20 miles)
- Block scheduling is not available
- White scrubs are required
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- Active FL or Compact RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry and/or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience required
- Strong vasoactive drip experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card (PDF copies required)
- Must be nicotine-free — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required; no exceptions
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
- Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly once confirmed for the assignment
- This is a smoke-free facility with a strict nicotine-free policy for all clinicians
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
