American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PET Operations Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, requiring PET/CT experience and active CNMT or ARRT(N) certification.
Details- Outpatient PET Operations Clinic setting within a large academic health system's Radiology division
- Procedures include PET/CT imaging with F-18 FDG handling
- Experience with Siemens PET Scanners preferred
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-site only — no teleworking
- 16-week contract
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- PET/CT experience required
- Active CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT(N) certification required
- Active Florida Radiologic License in Nuclear Medicine required — license required if applicable
- BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required prior to start
- No pending licenses accepted
- Associate's degree preferred
- Responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images that meet departmental radiology standards
- Must maintain competency across a variety of Nuclear Medicine equipment and technology
- Adherence to radiation safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and self is expected
- Flexibility to staff at various work locations, shift times, and lengths as needed
- COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may return after a mandatory 30–60 day break, once the one-year maximum continuous assignment length has been reached
