American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a night shift schedule at a hospital in Peoria, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and an active IL RN license.

• Position is located on a Medical/Respiratory unit (7C) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• May float to other facilities within the Carle Health system

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred

• Performs patient assessments upon admission and develops individualized plans of care
• Implements nursing interventions and patient care procedures, modifying plans of care based on continuous evaluation
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the healthcare team
• Contributes to a culture of safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at Carle Health for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any Carle Health location after reaching the 1-year mark
