American Traveler is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 2 years of experience for a Long Term Care travel assignment in Temple, TX.

• Long term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility setting
• Focuses on swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders in a resident population
• Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

• Active Texas SLP license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Long term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting swallowing, cognition, and communication
• Lead and guide the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and strategies
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
