American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 18 months of experience, Cerner charting proficiency, and an active IN or Compact RN license in hand.

• ICU position in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS required (AHA and RQI formats accepted); NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Nursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• Indiana-licensed RNs are not eligible for this position (ICU is not exempt from the IN RN restriction)

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted for this ICU position
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved
• Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
