American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital in Birmingham, AL
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekend requirement
• Cerner EMR used; experience required
• 13-week contract

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Valid US driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required
• Candidate must reside 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of recent ICU experience is required
