American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience, pediatric exposure, and required trauma certifications for a 13-week travel assignment.

• Emergency Department (ER) unit in a hospital setting
• Evening/mid shift: 15:00–03:00 (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week depending on staffing needs
• Weekend availability required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• EMR: Epic experience required

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license accepted at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (TNCC pending accepted at consideration but must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, or 2 years of Level 2 trauma experience, including some pediatric experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Floating may be required in accordance with the candidate's clinical experience
