American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position in Washington, DC, requiring ACLS/BLS certification, a DC RN license, and a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.

• Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
• Night shift schedule: 7PM–7:30AM, available as either 3x12 or 4x12 per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating to ICU and IMC units required
• 13-week contract

• Active DC RN license required (may be in pending status at time of consideration, but must be in hand prior to start)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
• All scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
