Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 1 Trauma, academic teaching hospital with a minimum of 4 years of CT experience required.
Details
- CT Scan department within a 637-licensed-bed Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
- Serves inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations with an average of 100 patients per day
- Uses Epic EMR, Philips PACS, and GE scanners
- 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- May float to inpatient and ED areas as needed
- No weekend rotation and no on-call requirements
- Holidays that fall on a scheduled workday are expected to be worked
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of CT experience required
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency with IV starts required
- Experience with Epic EMR
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- One professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, required for consideration
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation includes a nursing education orientation (NEO) and 1 day of departmental orientation
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an affiliated facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
- RTO requests require manager approval
