Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dublin, GA, requiring ARRT with CT Registry and the ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast.
Details
- Work in a CT Scan department at a 190-bed acute care hospital serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations via 2 CT units
- Patient population includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Primary procedures include CT scans with and without contrast and X-ray imaging; CT-guided biopsies are also performed
- GE CT equipment is used
- Documentation system is Meditech with Centricity PACS
- 4x10 hour night shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (must have worked in the role within the last 6 months)
- ARRT certification and CT Registry required
- Ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast
- Ability to perform X-ray imaging
- Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
- The facility holds ACR accreditation and has been recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and received an 'A' for Patient Safety from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide
- Department scrubs are navy blue
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
