Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma hospital in Wilson, NC, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and CT registration.
Details
- Work in the CT/Radiology department of a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited Level II Trauma hospital
- Patient population includes adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Uses GE CT equipment
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- This posting is for the afternoon/evening shift: Monday–Thursday, 12:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Additional shift options available including day shifts (M–F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM), second shift (12:00 PM–10:00 PM), overnight (M–TH, 9:30 PM–8:00 AM), and weekend days (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Call coverage required every 4th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM) for second shift, third shift, and M–F day shift candidates
- No float requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred
- Active CT registration required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- IV insertion proficiency required
- 3D post-processing experience required
- Associate's degree required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations in a Level II Trauma setting
- Facility is a Duke LifePoint hospital offering cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services
- Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills are preferred
- Any scrub color is acceptable; t-shirts must be worn with a lab coat
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates may not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- 13-week contract
