Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring independent proficiency in both CT and X-ray.
Details
- Located in the Imaging Department of a 137-bed acute care hospital
- Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center offering services including cardiology, ortho, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, ED, gastro, nephrology, hematology, urology, pulmonary medicine, and wound care
- Patient population includes all ages (pediatric, adult, and geriatric)
- Equipment includes GE CT Revolution and a mix of GE and Siemens X-ray rooms
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Varied schedule including weekdays, weekends, and nights
- Every other weekend required
- Float requirement between CT and X-ray departments
- No call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-ray experience
- Must be able to work independently in both CT and X-ray
- ARRT and CT certifications required
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
- Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs are required
