American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2 years of experience for a fast-paced acute care setting utilizing a Philips 128-slice scanner and MEDITECH EMR.

• Acute care hospital setting in a CT department with 1 CT room
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Common studies include strokes, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stones, and CTA
• High volume of outpatient CTs scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Primary equipment is a Philips 128-slice CT scanner with a Philips 16-slice backup and Bracco injectors
• PACS and Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS) are used in addition to MEDITECH EMR
• 12-hour shifts available on days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Weekend days required with variable weekend scheduling; every other holiday required
• May be required to cover X-ray after hours from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM when CT volume is low

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (R) with CT CME requirements met, or ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable — pending licenses will not be accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not have been directly employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past 12 months (candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered)
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• A radiation badge is required for this position
• Orientation consists of 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• No staff radiologist on-site
• Department uses team scheduling
• Fast-paced environment with a collaborative team; travelers in this department frequently extend and report a positive experience with the hospital and staff
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront — additional RTO will not be approved after submission
