American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (Multimodality CT/X-Ray) for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a freestanding emergency and urgent care facility in South Carolina, with 1 year of experience and active ARRT (CT) certification required.
Details- Position is a multimodality role covering CT and X-Ray, with potential for additional duties to support ED/Urgent Care operations
- Freestanding emergency and urgent care setting
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekend availability required, dependent upon the established schedule
- No on-call requirement
- No floating required
- Charting via Epic
- Free parking available with pass distributed at start
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- Active BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT)(R), and SCRQSA (CT)(R) certifications required
- SC state license required if applicable; candidates with a pending license may be considered, but must be fully licensed prior to starting
- AHA-issued certifications only accepted
- Radiation dosimetry badge required — must be provided by candidate's agency prior to start
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- This is a unique contract: travelers will begin at a separate downtown facility for approximately the first two weeks before transitioning to the primary freestanding emergency and urgent care location for the remainder of the assignment
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
- Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are accepted on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
- All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on facility needs
- Scrub colors are black and teal
- Online orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November, with peak activity in August and September), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties
